On July 2-9, 2023, a Vietnamese textile delegation came to China for business visit. Shao Mingdong, Chairman and General Manager of Jingwei Textile Machinery, Gao Linyu, Wang Ke, Deputy General Managers, and Zhu Yingqing, Head of International Trade Dept. warmly received the guests and had friendly conversation with them in Beijing. Personnel from the Vietnam Representative Office and Service Center of CTMTC accompanied the visit throughout the entire process.

The Vietnamese textile delegation visited Jiangsu Dasheng Intelligent Spinning Mill, Qingdao Hongda, Jingwei Intelligent, CTMTC, and the Headquarters of Jingwei Textile Machinery Co., Ltd. During the vist the delegation gained a comprehensive and detailed understanding of the intelligent spinning factory throughout the entire process of Jingwei’s Product Line. They highly praised the latest blowing and carding system, Auto-leveling drawing frame, auto-doffing roving machines, and roving-ring spinning frame link systems of Jingwei, as well as the technological highlights and competitive advantages of electronic drafting RSF, auto winder, and intelligent management systems. The delegation believes that the intelligent equipment of Jingwei has fully reached the international level, and has outstanding advantages in saving labor, energy consumption, and improving yarn quality. It is a key investment option to be considered in the later stage.

This Vietnamese textile delegation is the first large-scale delegation to visit China since 2019. At present, the development of Vietnam's textile and clothing industry is facing enormous pressure and difficulties, and new investment projects are mostly in a delayed or postponed state. The Vietnamese textile delegation expressed strong interest in the complete set of cotton spinning equipment from Jingwei. They stated that they will actively and steadily promote the process of factory renovation and new project investment. They look forward to closer cooperation with China through this visit, and promote the early landing of the projects.
